In KILLING FLOOR 2, players are taken to mainland Europe, where the outbreak caused by Horzine Biotech's failed experiment has spread rapidly until it became unstoppable, to the point of crippling the European Union. A month after the events in the original KILLING FLOOR, clones of specimens are everywhere and civilization is in total disarray — communications are down, governments have fallen, and military forces have been eradicated. Europeans are well aware of survival and self-preservation, and a few lucky survivors have managed to hide.
But not everyone lost hope... A group of civilians and mercenaries came together to fight the outbreak and establish privately-owned operational bases across Europe. By tracking outbreaks of specimen clones, players will reach zed-infested areas to exterminate them.
MAIN FEATURES:
• Blood and Guts - KILLING FLOOR 2 enhances the effects of Blood and Guts with an advanced persistent blood system designed to raise the bar for gender fidelity. Players will see entrails, torn limbs, and blood flying as they take out hordes of enemies. But you have to be careful! If caught, the enemies will mutilate the players and their party, bit by bit.
• Six-player co-op or single-player — a wide variety of playable characters await players as they join the fray online in co-op or solo for those who want to take on the gruesome specimens alone
• PvP survival game modes – be a zed! A 12-player PvP game mode where two teams take turns between humans and zeds in two short matches. In the first game, one team plays the humans and the other zeds until the humans die in a round or until they beat the boss. In the second game, the teams switch sides, and when the battle is over for both teams, they receive a score based on their performance and whoever has the most points wins!
• Terrifying Zeds – New enemies and fan favorites from the original game are back with expanded artificial intelligence, unleashing powerful attacks, working as a team to weaken the player's party, which raises the bar for challenge and fear
• Exclusive Weapon Set – Modern Military Assault Rifles, Brutal Improvised Weapons, Classic Historical Weapons and Crazy “Mad Scientist” weapons; KILLING FLOOR 2 has a unique combination of lethal tools to satisfy any player
• Expanded Class System – Classes from the original game have been reinvented and more options added. All classes now progress with a significant addition of talents that amplify different playstyles, giving players an expansive progression path filled with rewarding achievements.
• Brutal Melee Combat – KILLING FLOOR 2 totally reinvents melee combat. Players now control the type of melee attack they can perform, allowing them to unleash debilitating attacks on Zeds.
