O jogo Tiny Kingdom recebeu a atualização 10.0 e com ela veio novidades muito boas, este jogo que ainda não está lançado e conhecemos pouco dele por ser um jogo indie porem sabemos que o jogo esteve presente no evento MomoCon 2019, confira o patch notes (changelog) desta atualização logo abaixo
- MANY optimizations. Many bug fixes.
- Added frogs.
- Added squirrels in trees.
- Soldiers “hiding” in trees have been drastically improved.
- They darken/lighten as they enter/exit hiding, and they stop rendering entirely on your opponent’s screen while they are hidden (beforehand you had to hope they were physically obscured by the trees).
- Netcode completely re-written.
- “Player States” tuned up.
- Terrain becomes translucent when in build mode or buy mode (for grid visibility).
- Footprints have been completely re-worked– direction and wetness-based sprites.
- Added new background color to the game (part of an aesthetic tune up).
- Birds have been completely re-written and re-introduced into the game.
- Birds are more likely to spawn in forests (be wary).
- Control Tabs have been completely reworked / redesigned.
- Chassis Buttons have been completely reworked / redesigned.
- Rounded out terrain generation and improved the generation algorithm(s).
- Added Retreat functionality / button. Pressing it retreats all citizens and gatherers to their respective homes. They stop producing resources, but you save them temporarily.
- Sprite updates and variations for many things: buildings, tabs, terrain, etc.
- Added “Range Perimeter” when inspecting a soldier (auto-opens when a single soldier is selected).
- Added exclamation animation + jump when soldiers first spot a nearby enemy.
- Citizens actively try to get out of the way when you are hovering for the placement of a new building.
- Many new sound effects.
- Soldiers now have hands! They sometimes do cute animations when idling or after winning a fight.
- Light has been re-worked. Daytime no longer has any darkness filter, but visibility perimeters are now indicated with a thin line. Shadow-casting has now been fixed and optimized as well (it was broken in 9.0).
- The alert system has been completely reworked / redesigned. It now includes a screenshot of the alerting area + clicking on the alert will smoothly throw the camera. Ignored alerts will disappear after a few seconds.
- Attack Bonuses have been reworked from random damage additions to critical attack incrementations. Once a soldier has accumulated 100 crit points, they will unleash a critical strike. Different factions produce critical attacks with differing results.
- Flowers have been removed + grass has been completely reworked.
- Soldier health bars have been completely reworked– new sprite, crit charge bar, new colorations, damage animations, poison indications, 20% division lines, etc.
- When the match is over, everything is revealed to both players.
- Fixed melee attack swings (no longer look brokenly-lopsided).
- Soldier bobbing now correlates with their move speed.
- Added Explosion and Poison animations (upon hit and when taking damage).
- River tileset improved.
- Added large / impassable boulders to terrain generation.
- Added “B” hotkey for Build Mode.
